we are still planning our house and would like to have an exposed roof truss.
At the moment, a drywall ceiling with insulation between the rafters is planned. Our planner says we cannot have an exposed roof truss because it builds higher and we are not allowed to go much higher.
Now to my question:
We are building with Poroton 42.5 thickness. Is there a roller shutter box with integrated ring beam and insulation for this?

But then I ask myself, if you want an exposed roof truss (i.e., a lot of space upwards), why don't you "play" a little with the roof pitch so that the permitted ridge height is not exceeded? Another possibility might be to double the rafters, carry out normal insulation between the rafters, and virtually imitate an exposed roof truss.
