Hello,
we built a Swedish house in 2010 and still have about 10 rolls of Rockwool left from the construction.
Now I would like to use this mineral wool to insulate the attic.
The reason is simple, because the mineral wool is already up there, otherwise I would have to bring the mineral wool down, somehow get rid of it, buy insulation felt and bring it back up.
Since the mineral wool does not fit tightly between the rafters, I thought I would staple the vapor barrier in sections and then stuff the insulation wool in.
What do you think of this approach?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Martin
