Rock bed or stone bed?

Hello, most single-family houses have a trench with decorative stones in front of the house base. What is the correct name for this? Steinbeet or Steinbett? You don't get any clarity from the internet, as both terms are used there. Regards Harry

The correct term is "Kiestraufe". But there are surely 1000 other names that are not wrong ;-)
