Road closure not possible

Hello I have a problem. Opposite my construction site there is a retirement home. For the delivery of ceilings/stairs I have to have the street closed, unfortunately then access to the retirement home is not possible because the street on the other side is being renewed. The public order office says access must remain free for fire brigade/trucks. Do I now have to wait until the street is finished or do I have any rights??? Greetings from the Hunsrück

You will have to wait unless you find another delivery option. You want a special use and, of course, the rights/legal interests of others are weighed against it. The emergency exit is undoubtedly a priority. The city is not responsible for your poor scheduling. You can, of course, sue for approval before the VG.

The city doesn’t have to do that either. You should have informed yourself beforehand if the location of the property is that critical. You could also have planned your house construction differently so that a road closure is not necessary. You are the builder and house construction contractor and thus solely responsible for your project.

Does the crane have to stand on the street? Can't you somehow get it onto your property?
