hello everyone, we had the assembly of our prefabricated house last week and next week the takeover of the shell construction is supposed to take place. Now we were briefly back in the house (unfortunately we do not have a key) and had to find that the damages on the drywall panels were only filled with putty.
One panel had a large corner broken off --- now there is putty (without drywall panel) there.
Over three panels there was a continuous crack --- now there is putty there.
Two panels were deeply indented, diameter about 15 cm --- now there is putty there.
Between a few panels we had quite wide longitudinal joints (about 12 mm) --- now there is putty there.
and this basically runs throughout the whole house....
No damaged drywall panel was replaced or repaired, it was only filled over so that no one can see it.
Do we have to accept this or can we insist that new panels be installed there.
It is already outrageous how every smallest piece of drywall panel was reused, but of course, the company doesn’t have to fill the joints, we do :-(
