Hello,
my family has decided on turnkey construction. However, I would like to occasionally check the work performed. Specifically, I came across this issue after we decided on screed reinforcement. There are material differences. Even if the construction company now commissions the craftsman to install metal reinforcement, it does not necessarily mean that he will actually do so. I am always skeptical when it comes to construction services, even if this means I am unfair to honest craftsmen. Unfortunately, I have heard too often of shoddy work within my circle of acquaintances. A simple solution is that I carry out an inspection on the day of installation. I requested a construction schedule from the site manager. However, he is reluctant, and the company management also said that this is difficult because appointments constantly shift and notifying the buyers would be an unreasonable burden for the site managers. It also happened that I was informed much too late about the civil engineering work for the house connections, so now it is questionable whether the telecommunications providers can perform their work in time.
My questions now:
Do I have a right to the appointment dates? How can I assert this right? Do I have a claim, for example for damages, if I have to commission civil engineers again to carry out telecommunications connections?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards
