I must also admit to having fallen for the style of exposed concrete. Unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to realize this in a new building, as I am renovating an old property (built in '61). However, since a larger new wall is to be erected, I would be interested to know if there is any way to incorporate such an exposed concrete wall. (perhaps there are methods I have not yet thought of / known, but that are still possible). The colored plaster solutions are unfortunately nice from a certain distance, but clearly recognizable as "fake" up close. I had already thought about thin cast panels that I could attach to the wall, but how this can be implemented is still not entirely clear to me.

There are now putty systems that look real even from up close. With mineral plaster and textured foil. I don't know if there is panel material. But I see a structural problem and you have unsightly joints. I have seen a wall made with textured foil before. Even from up close, you can't tell if it's real or not. If we didn't have concrete walls, I would rely on that.

I have an exposed concrete ceiling on the ground floor, which, however, was repaired and treated due to defects, so it is no longer really exposed concrete. The appearance is nevertheless top-notch and there are companies that offer something like this.

Keywords you can search for are: Betonretusche, Betonkosmetik, Betonciré.

The manufacturer Carameo also offers putty systems; how good they are you have to judge yourself. In our case, the exposed concrete ceiling was sanded, partially repaired, and then uniformly treated with a tinted but transparent glaze to achieve an exposed concrete look. It was not puttied.

I like it.

Just get advice from a good specialist company. If it's done well, you really can't see it.
