Hello everyone,
I am planning to replace the window glass of my plastic window frames. According to my research, it is a windowpane with Viennese bars (so just one pane of glass and not, as one might assume, eight individual glass panes). Now I wonder if this is even feasible without having to install a completely new window frame...?
Maybe there are some experts here who can give me a tip about this.
1. I would like to replace the old, blind windowpane with a "normal" insulating glass pane without bars. Is that possible or is it to be feared that the glazing beads have notches?
2. How do I remove the bars as easily as possible so that I can knock out the glazing beads to remove the pane?
Thank you very much for the help.
