Hello everyone,

I was annoyed by the high prices for the replacement filters made of coarse filter fleece for the exhaust valves of my ZLA (Vaillant recovair) and am now producing these as well as other diameters for systems from Helios, Viessmann, Lunos or Pluggit (110 mm, 125 mm, 135 mm, 140 mm) myself in high quality and comparatively inexpensive (classes G2, G3 and G4).

Selling via, for example, Amazon in sets of 10 is quite expensive, i.e. Amazon takes about 30 - 40 % for fees and shipping, so I have to add that to the price. I would like to offer the filters in larger quantities and pass on the price advantage as much as possible, i.e. definitely under one euro per piece.

Would anyone be interested if, for example, a set with 100 pieces or more were offered? I am still unsure about which sales channel would work best. I could of course use the Amazon platform for this but do the shipping myself, which would result in only about 15 % fees and just the package shipping once.

Looking forward to your feedback.

What exactly does "comparatively cheap" mean? That is, your sales price for 100 pcs DN125 G3?

1. Such a filter in G4 for example costs only 1.5-1.8€ each when you buy a pack of 10
2. I also make my own filters myself – just buy a mat and cut it

You really have to be unbeatable cheap. Go ahead.

I could currently offer 0.95 €/piece, i.e. the 100-piece set for 95 € plus shipping (estimate about 5 € shipping for the package). As soon as I sell higher quantities, it makes sense to upgrade the punching technology, and in the first step you would already end up at about 0.6 - 0.7 €/piece.

Even with G4, depending on the size, I could currently offer between €0.70 and €0.95 for larger quantities (e.g., 100). As described above, after a small investment in the technology, easily 20% less.
