Replace the outdoor water tap socket wrench with a knob

Hello everyone,

we have an outdoor water tap that is operated with a square key. Now we sometimes relocate it, and it has also happened that it fell into the watering can. Therefore, I would like to install a knob instead.

Question: are there spare parts that I can put on the water tap's pin, or do I need a completely new outdoor water tap?

Take a black UV-resistant cable tie and fasten the thing to the tap with it, plug it on. And that's it.

Or buy yourself a regular faucet for 6 € at the next hardware store.
