Hello,
maybe there is someone here who already has some experience with the well-known series.
I am considering a well-known table, more precisely a corner table. However, I don't really like the base; I would prefer normal table legs. Does anyone know if that is possible?
Unfortunately, I haven't found anything about it on the internet so far...

As an alternative, there is still Linnmon, but it is actually a bit too small for me.

I am grateful for any help and thank you in advance for your answers.

Best regards

That is not possible without a DIY solution. The tabletops are very thin, so you cannot drill a hole where a screw would have enough hold. That's why there is the substructure with the metal frames.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Is the Linnmon extendable? So in theory, can I create a corner desk from two Linnmon boards (e.g. 2x 100x60 joined at a corner, which would roughly result in the dimensions of the well-known corner desk)? Is there a solution from Ikea for this, or is it just another DIY thing?

I mean, aside from simply putting them together each with 4 legs.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards, YingYangGirl

That doesn’t work either, unless you just place them next to each other. The Linnmon tops are hollow inside, so you can’t really screw something solidly together.

Why don’t you just put two LINNMONs side by side? A truly office-suitable desk always has a metal frame, apart from old bulky desks.

Hello,
thanks again for your answers.
The reason I don't want to just place them side by side is simply optical, in connection with the legs. But I will probably just have to see it live.

Since I will be near an Ikea anyway tomorrow, I will take a look at the whole thing on site and then see which versions I like best and what is especially practical.

Still, thank you very much for your help, as I always like to plan in advance and spend ages thinking about it, this has already helped me a lot.
