Hello,
I would like to install a mirror in the BESTÅ TOMBO display cabinet door (60cm x 64cm). Has anyone of you done something like this before?
I thought I could simply replace the existing glass with a cut-to-size mirror. Unfortunately, the glass is not easily removable. You would have to find a way to disassemble the frame. To me, it looks like the frame cannot be easily taken apart.
Does anyone know how to remove the glass from the door frame and replace it with a mirror?
I don’t like the idea of placing a mirror behind the glass because it would be noticeable and wouldn’t look good.
You could glue the mirror onto the glass, but I’m not sure if the hinges can support the extra weight. (You could also break the glass and glue the mirror onto the frame from the outside, but that would be the solution if nothing else works.)
It would be great if someone could help me.
Best regards Michael
