Hello everyone,
I will soon install the vapor and radon barrier in my basement (Katja Sprint or AluJet Speed sealing membrane - I’m still undecided, but that doesn’t matter for now...).
As far as I can assess, my slab is relatively good and smooth, but there are a few small holes, some uneven spots here and there, and at the joints with the (concrete) walls, there are also a few places that aren’t quite nice. It might even be possible to lay the membrane directly, but if I’m doing a vapor barrier, I want to do it as “perfectly” as possible.
What would be the optimal material to close the aforementioned holes and uneven spots and to create a small fillet at the wall joints? Of course, I want to use something that will in no way negatively affect the later floor construction (insulation, underfloor heating, screed, parquet or tiles).
Thanks!
