Hello dear community of builders,
My wife and I have recently acquired a house built in 1938 and are nearly finished with the shell construction. We had the so-called "professionals" start plastering the walls, and due to the quite uneven walls, up to 3 cm of plaster needs to be applied in some areas. Since, according to our information, with such thicknesses the final thickness should be achieved in layers, we asked the "experts" to proceed accordingly.
Now we have found that after the first layer (still uneven), it has already been tamped down.
Is the adhesion for the next layer still guaranteed in this case?
If not, what measures do we need to take to prevent the plaster from falling off the wall?
Thank you very much for your answers on this.
