Good morning
I had my entire floor on the ground floor renewed.
That means, in our house from 1922, the upper floors were removed, the wooden floorboards and the potash. Only the wooden beams and the thin cellar ceiling construction remained visible.
Then, lateral leveling beams were attached to the wooden beams for leveling, mineral wool was placed in the gaps, on top a vapor barrier foil, and then 25mm OSB boards (single layer).
As a floor covering, we chose linoleum – an additional impact sound insulation was also installed.
Now I am bothered by the spots at the tongue and groove "T-crossings" that do not lie on the beams (50cm rafter spacing).
In a conversation with a "self-proclaimed" old building renovator, it was said that everything was laid unprofessionally.
He said there is a DIN standard that states that cross battens must also be laid.
Now my question:
Is there such a standard or recommendation?
I am not satisfied with the floor because I hoped to have a solid floor with this renovation....
