Hello,

I have a Pax wardrobe that I will need to dismantle soon for my move. In itself, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem, but I’m not exactly sure how to get the cam screws out of their holes. Does anyone perhaps have a tip? I’ve assembled Ikea furniture many times, but rarely taken it apart...

Thank you in advance!

Hello, what do you mean by topfschrauben? The (Rastex) eccentric connector? Simply turn these counterclockwise and separate the wooden parts from each other. The eccentric connector will then fall out of its hole.

Yes, exactly those are the ones I mean - I didn't know the correct name. Is it easy to take the parts apart once you've turned the eccentric connectors, or do I need to get some reinforcement?

A strong punch with the fist should be enough. a helper is always good for holding, so that nothing falls over and tears anything out
