Hello,

maybe someone of you has already had the same problem or a solution for it. Unfortunately, the protective film was on my front door a bit too long, so that the residues in the picture are unfortunately very stubborn to remove. A hairdryer brought no success. In some places, I tried to peel off the film with tape, which only worked moderately in tiny pieces.

I'm at a loss :-/

Look at Atou labels / film removers

you have to use chemicals for that. But I would check first and test it in one spot, so the gloss doesn't fade

I would try label remover cleaning putty first. And plain salad oil, many adhesives are fat-soluble. If that doesn’t help either, possibly some methylated spirits (but be careful with the surface here!) and only then the chemical big guns.

I have quite good experience with orange oil cleaner. Just be a bit careful, as HilfeHilfe already says, first try it carefully on one spot and possibly dilute it further.

Do you have to do it?
Is it about replacing the front door?

In the case of a new building with [GÜ] the carpenter should please do it or the cleaning company.
