In the bathroom of the attic, the floor will be renewed. For this, the floor-mounted toilet must be removed for several days. What must be considered? See picture.

- How do you seal the drain opening in the toilet and the opening of the drain pipe in the wall?
- Is a strong odor to be expected?
- The toilet must be moved to another room.
How heavy is it approximately?
Can one person handle this? Possibly with aids such as a transport board on wheels or a hand truck.

What else should be considered?

Thank you

Turn off the water in the cistern. Loosen screws from the floor. Carefully lift the toilet - there is still quite a bit of water inside. Push in an old sock or t-shirt ;-) If sealed, then no. Otherwise, it depends on what smells come up from below... Then you will probably have to carry it... +/- 20 kg 43kg "dog owner" maybe not. Normal person yes ;)
