Hello everyone,

I am about to start my new build soon. We are financing it through Ing-Diba. So far, everything has gone very well and uncomplicated with Ing-Diba!

However, I now have a question that I don’t want to ask Ing-Diba immediately after signing the contract.

Suppose at the end of the construction (meaning the house is completely finished) I have a remaining balance of, let’s say, 8,000 €. Do I have to return the money then, or can I keep it as savings?

I have to prove to the bank with receipts all the money I spend! Therefore, my understanding says that I cannot just put the money aside! Or am I seeing this wrong?

Thank you very much in advance and best regards

Hehe remaining credit after the construction.... that was good

You are not allowed to buy furniture or the kitchen with the construction loan... so you are not allowed to put the money aside either. You already mentioned that you need a receipt for everything.

What happens with the remainder in the end should be regulated in your contract. We are allowed to return 10% free of charge.

He's really good! For me, everything was without a receipt, only the costs included in the financing had to be made (although I have the full payout and the garden was not done). No one wanted a receipt, just a construction progress report and a few photos.... but that probably depends on the bank.

I mean that you can "keep" or use it. The only important thing is that you adhere to the lending limit.

Hello,

As long as your BU fills out the required documents before each installment payment, it will stay that way. Annoying about this bank is their "felt" intent to want to start a paper factory

We will "talk" again when your construction is finished – I like the idea of a remaining credit

As far as I know Ing-Diba, that won’t happen; they want a receipt for everything and anything – even for the last cents!

Kind regards

Hi, normally you will not have any remaining credit. I have already had my experiences with [Ing-Diba], unfortunately your plan will not work out with them. Best regards
