Hello! We are planning to build a new house soon and are currently exploring what costs we will face. I have now found a kind of planning program that reveals the costs of individual decisions and allows you to configure the house according to your own budget. I like that apparently no prefab house manufacturer is trying to sell me something here. However, I have a question: how reliable are the calculated costs? After all, I don't want to be left in the lurch when I go to the construction company I trust with these expectations. Has anyone here already had experience? Thank you very much! Dirk

Hello Dirk,

you won’t get a reliable cost calculation this way, even if you already have a preliminary draft with quantity determination.

You can’t even specify a U-value for the exterior wall.
How are you supposed to know, for example, whether you comply with the Energy Saving Ordinance.

Asking whether the KfW can be used is completely out of the question.

I don’t know why Heinze agrees to something like this.

Best regards
