Hello everyone,

In our planned 165sqm home with 4 people, we will install (have installed) the controlled residential ventilation in the attic. Due to the max. height of about 1.5m, the controlled residential ventilation should be installed lying down because of maintenance friendliness and easier piping.

Is there a recommendation for which devices are particularly suitable here?

Thanks in advance!
Stefan

Hoval HomeVent comfort FR (201 - 301) can be installed in many positions, ours hangs horizontally under the ceiling. I think it can also be installed lying on the floor.

We have a Helios EC 340 D. It is also intended for ceiling installation.

Paul Novus 450 from Zehnder would also work. Just leave this question to the craftsman, he will surely suggest something.

1.5m is more than enough for any usual system.

Thanks for the answers!

The craftsman will suggest something, of course he took that as a task from the construction manager. But previous experience shows: Also deal with it yourself so that you know what’s going on and can possibly influence it ;-)

Regarding the 1.5m: That is the height at the highest point, so it has to be mounted a bit lower. So "actually" it is possible, but "actually" construction managers and builders do not want that.
