Hello everyone,
we are new here in the forum and would appreciate your help with one or the other question. Of course, we will try to help the community with our experiences.
But now to our first problem in the planning phase of the garden. We are only starting to build in October, but I am already troubled by the first questions about the garden. We have heard that we are not allowed to drain the water from the property and driveway onto the street by normal slope. All rainwater must be directed into a rainwater basin. The bottom of the basin is about 40-50 [cm] below the street. The street and the basin are 25m apart. Between them are the house and double garage. The rainwater from the house is directed into a cistern where the overflow reaches the rainwater basin without any problems. Can anyone give us ideas and suggestions on how to approach such issues? On Thursday I will meet with the project manager of the construction area and ask him about it, but a few tips in advance could not hurt.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards
