Hello everyone,

has anyone of you already had experience with such Raff-Stores? They are currently coming onto the market from all common brands. How dark do they really make it? I understand that they have no chance against roller shutters, but do they darken significantly more than regular slats?

Yes, of course. They really make it almost completely dark. But they are extremely expensive!

Have you installed them and can you possibly back that up with figures? If yes, which brand/version? We were offered them for the whole house with a 600€ surcharge. If so, we would only install them upstairs, so with a surcharge of about 300€.

Well, I wouldn't hesitate over a few euros. We have regular venetian blinds; they don't really darken much, which is annoying especially in the children's rooms, but even if it only makes it a little darker, well spent money.

We will definitely take those too unless someone here says it's the biggest crap. :)

I don't need the room to be pitch dark because I'm an early riser anyway and my wife can sleep anytime and anywhere, but especially for the children's rooms, a bit more darkness would be nice for me. Blinds are simply out of the question for us for aesthetic reasons.

Take a look at the things in real life. They were shown to us too, but were then clearly too expensive. Surcharge per window 300 euros compared to [Rollo]. Would have amounted to about 6000 euros. It was not worth it to us.
