Hello everyone,
We want to expand our old Besta combination. During the planning, a few problems arise:
1. For the 128 cm carcasses, it says that they should only be placed on the floor, but not hung. Is it possible to place them on another small carcass? That’s how we did it with the existing part as well.
2. If stacking is not possible, can the doors be positioned so that they simply span across the different cabinets? So a large door would cover part of the large carcass as well as a small carcass? This way I could at least preserve the appearance. In my opinion, this should be possible since the doors sit IN FRONT of the carcass. Hopefully, that makes sense.
3. Are the new carcasses no longer supplied with shelves and do these need to be purchased separately???
I hope you can help me. We want to plan ahead and I’m going without my husband, so we need to know in advance how it works and also my next Ikea is in Belgium and there could be some language issues if I have to rely on staff help.
Thank you in advance for your help!
