Hello everyone,
During the construction of our new build, we or rather our developer had a lot of bad luck with the drywall installers during the building phase.
In total, five companies were involved here. The site manager kept changing the companies repeatedly after the work performed did not meet his standards.
So far, I actually find that good :)
Now, after acceptance and living in the house, we noticed that the ceilings in two rooms on the top floor are not really even.
In one room, there is a really noticeable dip in one corner from wall to ceiling. Since that is the wall you look at from the bed, it is most annoying there.
We actually wanted to put a color stripe there, but that would only emphasize it further.
Over a length of 1.5 to 2 meters, there is a height difference of 1.5 to 2 cm. And when you hold a spirit level against the ceiling surface, you cannot find a truly horizontal area anywhere.
How should one proceed with a complaint here? Our site manager will definitely say again that it is within the tolerance range.
Since we specifically chose a - rather expensive - provider who promised us top quality, the discussions with the site manager annoy me more and more.
I am tolerant of deviations under 1 cm, but not with a wall with a dip in the middle and deviations to the left and right...
Thank you very much for your help
