Question about the instructions for the Ikea Faktum tall cabinet

Hello everyone,

for the first time, I am having trouble with an Ikea instruction manual. For the aforementioned cabinet, starting from step 7 - it seems - there are different types of screws available for the shelves. However, this is not made really clear in the instructions. Should I now screw in the "straight" pins or these hook-like pins?

Hi, the two different screw/hook types ensure that the mounting plates can be installed at different heights. With the screws, the mounting plates are approximately "at hole height," with the hooks slightly (1-2 cm) offset upwards. Screws or hooks are to be used alternatively.
