Question about the IKEA BESTÅ/FRAMSTÅ TV/storage combination

Hello everyone,

I will be moving into my first own apartment soon and have chosen a "Anbauwand" for the living room.

Unfortunately, the apartment only has drywall walls, so I don't know if I can use this "Anbauwand". As far as I understand, each panel must be attached to the wall individually, is that correct!? Does that hold on drywall walls as well?

I have them too... thought they were really great... I have them in black-brown and the doors and drawers are made of glass where you can put your own pictures in

With us, the panel was always attached at the second to last with two screws each, it also says so in the instructions ... regarding the screws I would ask at the hardware store ... but I hung my kitchen wall cabinets on them because we also have those plaster things there and so far they hold

edit: my husband just said that our hollow wall plugs are made of metal...

yes... that's how it is with us too...

Best ask at the hardware store which ones are best for your drywall and if they can hold the weight. We don't want everything to fall down during the night... or???

But actually, there is nothing against these metal anchors. Normally, it should hold.
