Morning,

I actually managed to snag a great Klamby sofa bed during a Tuesday promotion. You don't have to assemble much, just attach the legs and that's it. But in the assembly instructions, besides the legs, there are also three gray cable conduits listed, two short ones and one long one. I do have them, but their function isn’t quite clear to me. Maybe someone knows the answer.....
Regards, Nico

Hej,

I think they are there to prevent the cover from slipping. This is definitely the case with the KLIPPAN sofa. I also thought at first that it was forgotten trash. They simply go into the "gaps" on the left and right (short) and at the back (long) of the seat. It really helps; the cover then stays nicely in place.

groetjes,
alex

I also wondered what those things are good for, but I wasn't smart enough to ask the question here - well, back then I didn't know the forum yet. Anyway, I threw those things away and to be honest - it slips a bit for me

Unfortunately, you are usually only wiser afterwards :( As long as it only slips a little, it can be endured, right?

But as you can see again, Ikea was quite clever after all - or rather, thought of everything ;) The customer just has to understand it! :D ;)
