Hello, since we are no longer building new after all, as I mentioned in another thread, we are looking for another place for ourselves. For this purpose, we are viewing an O...house this week, which is heated with marble slabs, has solar thermal for domestic hot water, and calls itself an energy-saving house with an energy value of 47 kW. Now I have a question regarding this, is that a good combination? Many thanks in advance.

The term energy value does not fit the unit. Energy is measured in kWh, kW, on the other hand, is a power! ;) "Marble slabs" suggest an electric direct heating system! That would not be a sensible investment in terms of low future consumption costs. The property is probably not for sale without reason. ;)

best regards

Thanks for the answer, I thought so already, I googled and found out that the people would actually have a huge electricity bill. Sorry, I had forgotten the h in the energy value. But I don’t think it’s an option anyway, it has no balcony, no basement, and if you had to do something else here to keep it warm and save costs, you would have to spend a lot of money on it, it is supposed to cost 229,000 and would only have 120 sqm living space. Best regards

Hello €uro,

That depends ... in many places these radiant heaters run on the heat pump tariff ;)

Kind regards

Whether that will remain so is more than questionable. Where there is no plaintiff, there is no judge. ;) However, this primarily does not change the fact that E-direct in the normal case (no PH) usually becomes a money pit! Best regards

Hm...thanks, well, unfortunately you can't find much about the [Marmorplattenheizung].
