Hello,
I plan to cover the terrace this year. The length of the covering is about 4m, and it is to be made with a steel substructure. Now to my question. I want to screw a steel rail, either an angle profile or a rectangular tube, onto the exterior wall. The longitudinal beams are then supposed to rest on that.
Can I simply screw the steel rail to the wall, since the walls are built with an approximately 10cm thick wooden layer on the outside, right?
