Purchase recommendation for LED recessed spotlights, with or without a base?

Hello everyone,

can someone give purchase recommendations for LED recessed spotlights? The fundamental question is whether they should be fixed LEDs or ones with a socket. With fixed LEDs, you have to replace the entire lamp if there is a defect, which could be difficult after a few years. Unless you keep some in stock.
GU10 sockets are too tall for my setup. I find the GX53 socket very interesting. You could use many recessed spotlights with the same socket and equip them with different (various brightness, light color, dimmable/not dimmable) LED lamps and still have the same socket. And you can replace the lamps if there is a defect.
But unfortunately, I can't find any tests or similar. Of course, people say that LEDs last a long time. But is this really the case? Or how do you recognize good quality?
Thank you very much

Hello, I feel the same way, I also wrote a post about this earlier. I looked up the spots from the company Ledando. The housings are available as aluminum (from LC light, a German company) in different variants. You have to calculate about 20-25€ per spot here. But you can also buy the sockets on Amazon and elsewhere, I have already seen offers for 6-7€, plus the light bulb on Amazon from Lumixon for about 5€ each. There are also stronger light bulbs available here. For me, only the GX53 is an option due to our ceiling construction. How do you distribute your spots in rooms and corridors? I attached a plan of our house with the possible distribution to my post, take a look at it and maybe we can help each other.

Where can I find the plan? I don't see anything like that. I don't know exactly how I will arrange the spots yet. I will first take a look at it in the house, which will be set up next week. However, it will be quite different in its finished state because the finished wall and floor coverings are not yet present in the shell construction.
