Purchase of expensive kitchen appliances in Germany

I have learned that many people make their purchases of washing machines and other expensive electrical appliances in Germany.

Now my question is, where do they do this and do they have to transport and declare their machines themselves because of customs matters, or are there providers near the border who take care of this for them? - and then of course still somewhat cheaper.

We bought a machine from Bauknecht. DYNAMIC SENSE WA-9556 - for only CHF 1,600.- including VAT and delivery. I think this is the perfect machine.

Now about the percentages: in Switzerland, you usually get around 25% off. So definitely bargain! And if you buy or order at fairs, you can get up to an additional 10% off.

This way you also have the warranty of a good company, delivery, etc. What more could you want? For me, no question!
