Are underfloor heating pipes specially protected at the transitions between screed areas and if so, how?

Since the floating screed expands differently in the various rooms, I wonder whether the underfloor heating pipes in the expansion joints (e.g., at the room doors) are specially protected or if a special measure is taken there.

Thank you very much!

It is not strictly necessary and primarily depends on the installation instructions of the pipe manufacturer.

Some do it, others do not. The absence of the extra protection is not automatically a defect.

Thank you very much for the response!!! Even with a picture, really great! Are these simply pipes that are slipped over the other pipe? Or pipes cut open on one side that you can practically "stick" on. How does this protection work? Are these red pipes just a bit larger so that the underfloor heating pipe has more room to move?

As a rule, it is simply a piece of corrugated pipe that is placed over the heating loops.

Here is a detailed image:

This allows the heating pipes to move at all, because without it, they are "fixed" in the screed. However, since the expansions are negligible, hardly anyone does it.
