Protect the foundation from moisture

Hello,

I am new here and bought a house four months ago. Now we wanted to slowly start thinking about the foundation of the house. This is a strip foundation C... the foundation is surrounded by soil on the outside and was covered with gravel. I have always been told that soil at the foundation is not really good (because of moisture). I dug out a little bit and would now like to know what can or must be done. Or if anything needs to be done at all.
I have attached two pictures. As can be seen in one of the pictures, I would like to plaster the upper part, since this is visible on nearly 4/5 of the house.

No, at the moment there is at least no visible moisture problem. However, I would like to take preventive measures.

What kind of problem with the strip foundation? It is always damp from the soil and has nothing to do with moisture in the living space – there is still a floor slab above it, which should be properly sealed – or do you mean that one?
