Research the surroundings.
Price/performance ratio (keyword: land values)
Costs:
Purchase price
+ 3.5 or 4.5% property transfer tax
Broker fees??
Warning, even if no immediate construction is planned or possible, the owner is liable for all dangers arising from the property.
Keyword builder's liability insurance, doesn’t cost much, but is very useful.
