Property entrance on a side street or main street?

Hi,

I am currently working on the planning. I have a plot of land that borders a main road and a side street. Where would you place your driveway? The side street will only be built next year, so I would have to make a temporary driveway on the main road. If the driveway is built on the main road, I can start building immediately.

What would you rather choose?

Are you even allowed to access via the side street?
How much traffic is there on the main road?
How fast is one allowed to drive on the main road?

- When I did test drives, no one ever came towards me or was behind me.

Hope I could break it down a bit better.

Then I wouldn’t wait. If it is like with us 50 km/h, 9000 vehicles per week, most of them Mon-Fri, I wouldn’t provide access via the main road because of the curve. Plan a door to the side street so that the children can get out there if necessary.

-Main road in the sense of a main settlement street in a new development area. The side street is again a cul-de-sac. I should have just added the whole view, then it would have been easier to see, sorry.

- Exactly, south is at the bottom. I would place my garage to the north, and from there the driveway as well, so that the garden to the south would still remain.

Since I am still in the planning phase, it changes almost by the minute.
