Propane/Butane Gas vs Electric Instant Water Heater

I want to install a continuous water heater at my campsite

My question is, which of the two continuous water heaters is cheaper in maintenance costs?

Should one only use branded devices?

Or are items from e.g. ebay also okay?

ps: I do want everything to be safe

so I would definitely recommend you not to buy extensively on Ebay. Not least because of the warranty for the device. I generally buy from the specialist dealer, because there is also a contact person available for any questions / problems. Which of the two is cheaper to maintain, I cannot say. But when it comes to safety, I would take an electric one.
