Good day everyone,
first of all a big thank you to the whole community here. Over the past two years during the planning and implementation of my house project (as a silent reader) I received many good tips and have followed countless exciting and sometimes also curious discussions. Actually, I did not want to post our floor plans here, but since there is interest in our house and I was also grateful that many fellow forum members shared their floor plans with me, I have reconsidered.
Since this is not really supposed to become a floor plan discussion, please forgive me for not filling out the questionnaire now. However, I will of course be happy to answer your questions.
A few pieces of information beforehand:
Our plot is more or less directly on a small lake. Between the lake and the plot there is still a small access road and a public green strip about 10 m wide. The street front of the plot is about 28 m wide and the side length is about 36 m.
With an average slope of 21% we have a relatively steep hillside. That is why the house is built somewhat into the slope and set deeper so that one can still drive a car onto the plot reasonably comfortably.
In terms of equipment, our house is just above Kfw 40 with central controlled residential ventilation, geothermal heating with deep drilling, underfloor heating in all rooms (including the garage) and a [KNX] system.
Visually, although it is a new building, we want to go more in the direction of an old villa in style to better integrate into the beautiful surroundings. That is also why we chose the mansard roof, windows with Viennese muntins and a bit of facade decoration (architraves, etc.).
The floor plans and site plan are already a few days old and only 95% up to date. For example, we have omitted the balcony facing southeast for cost and practicality reasons, since we still have a large terrace on the southwest side of the house. Also, the 11.5 cm wall in the living room on the ground floor will not be built for now and might only be realized later in drywall construction. Upstairs, we have also planned an additional retractable ladder as access to the crawl space, and the bathroom is not yet 100% final. We planned the house with 3 children's rooms, 1 guest room, and 1 home office. The furnishing, except for the kitchen, is also just a placeholder. Oh yes... by the way, we are building with an architect and direct contract awarding (what a stress).
The pictures of the construction progress so far are all in the house pictures thread. If there are particular requests in this respect, I will gladly try to fulfill them. I will also try to provide sections and elevations in the next few days.
I hope I was able to give you a good first impression of our future house and look forward to your questions.
Regards, -XIII-
