Hello everyone,

I would like to install indirect lighting in our living room. It should be mounted on the walls.
Do you have a recommendation which profiles are good in terms of price/performance, or have you even implemented a DIY solution using [Rigips] or similar.

Thanks and best regards
Julian

I have installed Philips Hue throughout the entire house. Simply place an LED strip behind existing furniture (sideboard, chest of drawers, TV). The cheap ones from the hardware store would do the job as well, but controlling them with Hue is definitely more convenient. Alternatively, you can partially lower the ceiling or build a wall unit to install indirect lighting. Another option would be to work with stucco moldings/frosted glass profiles. Personally, I don’t find that very nice, but that is just a matter of taste.

I find the flush-mounted solutions with frosted glass profile quite appealing. Narrow slots just have to be milled into the wall again.
