Professional association / works assigned by oneself / helper hours indicated

Hello everyone,

after 1.5 years of construction, we are almost finished with building our house and will be moving in within the next few weeks.

We assigned all the trades in the house ourselves and also did a lot of work ourselves or were supported by our parents.

At the BG, we always indicated that all trades were carried out by craftsmen or we (my wife and I) did it ourselves. We do not have invoices from all craftsmen (but we do have them for most of the major work).

Now my question:
- Does BG Bau have the right to view all invoices?
- Or can we continue to state that everything was subcontracted and we ourselves did not do much?
Do they believe that, or should we delay declaring the completion of construction so that we have more time for own work (I read somewhere on the internet that BG calculates the hours and then comes to the conclusion that we could not have done it all ourselves)

Does anyone have a tip on the best way to behave there?

Did the BG ask you? We only know the BG by hearsay - maybe they don't dare to come to the Niederrhein either... (also awarded all trades separately and worked on it themselves)
