Hello dear members,
The following problem.
I am currently in the process of building a multi-family house with 10 residential units. All plans have been created, building application, etc. is in progress. My architect is currently working on the thermal insulation. The building is to be constructed to Kfw 70 standard. He called me and said that he can't achieve the thermal insulation with the gas heating, no matter how thick the insulation would be, a Kfw 70 standard would not be possible. According to him, it would work with a pellet heating system! Now I don't really understand what one has to do with the other! Can someone enlighten me? Unfortunately, my architect is away for a week, so I can only get back to him after that. Honestly, I don't think much of a pellet heating system for such a large building with 4 floors and 850m2 living area, and besides, you need a huge tank/container for that. Do you have any tips for me? I urgently need advice.
Thank you!
