Hello,
I am currently interested in a small apartment (studio) that has just been fully renovated. Unfortunately, I do not understand the purpose of the lighting management.
The following situation is currently the case:
I enter the apartment, press the light switch, and the halogen spots light up very briefly before going off again.
Only with the Jung remote control can I turn on the light (mind you, only after the switch has been turned on, before that the power is cut off).
Now I ask you,
does anyone have experience with this technology? I do not quite understand the purpose of having to first press a switch and then turn on the light with the remote control. Theoretically, you would have to do this even in the dark at night, meaning every time you enter the apartment you have to perform such complicated steps.
After consulting with the current owner, the company owner said he would bring an additional switch, meaning this would then come OVER (!) the current light switch, which you would STILL have to turn on in order to then only switch on 4 (!) halogen spots with the Jung light switch.
There is definitely something wrong here??
Specifically:
Turn on light switch -> use remote control -> only then light
or new proposal:
Turn on light switch -> operate Jung light switch (4 spots go on) -> turn on remote control for all spots -> light on.
Please tell me this is not the state of the art.
