Hello,

I am interested in prefab house construction. I keep reading on the internet that people decide against a company because the walls or the wall structure are not supposed to be so great. I have also read that there are different wall structures. What must be considered when choosing the wall or the type of structure?
Thank you very much in advance for your answers.

We have chosen a prefab house provider who installs load-bearing wooden panels in addition to the obligatory drywall panels. This way, you can screw anything to the wall without needing a wall plug. Additionally, the U-value should be appropriate, meaning thickness and insulation material.

Thanks for your answer. What U-values should it have? With which prefabricated house manufacturer did you build? We have Luxhaus and Fingerhaus in narrower selection. We already have some information about Fingerhaus.

We will build with the second one on your list. We are currently waiting for our building permit approval. The house will be erected no earlier than the end of the year. But I have 2 colleagues who are happily living in their house from the manufacturer.

All right, which U-values should those be? and is there anything else to consider with prefabricated houses?
