Prefabricated garage or carport

Hi!

I am planning to have a garage or a prefabricated garage built or installed. Since we have been a bit tight on money in recent years due to many expenses, I would like to take out a construction loan. Various credit companies advertise low interest rates on the internet, etc. I am a bit unsure about taking out a loan online, but the conditions are sometimes more attractive than those of traditional banks. Has anyone had experience with this? What should I pay attention to?

That will be a bit difficult, as this will involve a relatively small loan amount.

I wouldn’t dare do that over the internet! Who knows if everything is that trustworthy. Besides, different contract terms usually apply to online transactions... it can go wrong.

Yes, doing banking over the internet is generally a rather delicate matter. If you want to do that, make sure to check carefully with the [Wirtschaftskammer] beforehand whether the company you have in mind is reputable.

Is that done by the [Wirtschaftskammer], I mean information about something like that? Hmm...I always confuse the areas of responsibility of the [Wirtschafts] and [Arbeiterkammer]...but I would definitely get information from experts beforehand too!!!

My girlfriend completely fell for one of those online loans. It looked great at first glance, but in the end everything was so expensive that now she hardly has anything left from what she earns at work, because almost everything goes towards the interest. It was some shady deal with the contract. :(
