Hello, I am planning to build a house next year, and since people like to make things easy for themselves, I am looking for tips from builders based on their experiences during their house construction.

I am not looking for basic tips like: "The building application must be submitted on time, as the processing time is often considerable."
But rather practical tips, like (not entirely serious): "We placed a tub of water in front of the door so that no one would go onto the street with dirty feet."
or
"I built myself a small tool cart from pallets, with a built-in work light and power strip, that was very helpful."

Hello,

you still have some time until next year.

Therefore, my helpful tips:
Diligently talk with other builders, possibly drop by with some known builders or even help out.
Read actively here in the forum. Even in topics that are not necessarily interesting from the title, you will often find very helpful information.

So, in short: Engage thoroughly with the topic of house building. Unfortunately, no one can put together a recipe book for you.

And you can read the thousands of blogs, that's where you are most likely to find what you are looking for.

[*]In hindsight, I would force myself to document even more and better. Not just endless photos (which I have), but also diligently keeping a construction diary where all agreements and decisions are recorded.
[*]I consider a quality control responsible only to you essential (expert or similar; architect).
[*]Visit reference buildings beforehand, talk to the residents.
[*]Also seek conversations with sub-sub-subcontractors, especially with the respective foremen, of course.
[*]Better to double the planned financial buffer; also keep money ready for the phase after moving in.
[*]When making changes to the fittings, consider all possible consequences (after creating the building plans, we changed the stair railing and the balustrade on the upper floor, which ought to have been consistently taken into account when planning the stairwell; but no one did. Not a big deal, but just a detail).

To a large extent, this of course depends on your situation (do it yourself, architect house, general contractor/guaranteed price contractor/construction manager).
