Position of the outdoor unit of the air heat pump

Good evening everyone,

we have to decide on the location of the outdoor unit by tomorrow morning. Admittedly, this is very spontaneous. Unfortunately, we cannot avoid it this way.

We are getting the split air/water heat pump VITOCAL 222-s from Viessmann.

The first plan was to position the unit behind the garage. This plan has now fallen through because the screed in the garage does not rise high enough.

The air-water heat pump is located in the utility room (circle opposite W and T).

We had the following ideas:

- On the driveway to the garage on the house wall, to the left of the window.
- In front of the house, to the right of the front door (3m to the street)
- To the left of the house on the house wall

The house is located in a new development area, surrounded exclusively by single-family houses.

I would generally have advised towards the street side.

Advantages:
- far away from the nearest neighbor
- far away from the terrace

Disadvantages:
- is in the main view/front side of the house

please seek advice also with regard to the noise development

What does the screed in the garage have to do with the position of the pump?

The system is defined. So is the noise development. And even if the latter probably complies with the requirements, noise is noise. And the farther away from the neighbor, the farther away from trouble.

The clearance areas in all directions are also specified for the system in the datasheet.
