Polymer window films as sun protection and privacy screen - experience

Good day,
has anyone already had experience with polymer window films. There are also already polymer glass windows, which are however very expensive, €3,000 per sqm.
polymer window films are supposed to have the following advantages:
- provide effective privacy protection, heat protection, and shatter protection
- have a noise-reducing effect.
It would also be interesting if someone has already dealt with polymer window glass.

Just order one for yourself. They only cost a few euros.
