My architect has now created the floor plans for my two-family house, I actually find them quite good, only the first floor is a bit complicated, but the requirements are also high.

Therefore, I ask for your opinion.

And what would those be? A bit too little text for such high demands. No information about the residents and their number...

Gladly.
- All measurements are missing.
- No bathtub on the ground floor.
- Endless way from bedroom 2 (past the front door) to the shower.
- Bathroom 1 is a trapped room from bedroom 1.
- Partial basement probably just as expensive as a full basement. Or at least the surcharge for that is rather small.
- Laundry chute in the children's bathroom?
- Shared laundry chute for two parties, interesting... or no, actually not... yuck.
- Balcony without access, also nice.
- Basement optional bathroom... for whom? The craftsmen?

Overall a lot of space for little functional use. Only the kitchen/living room pleases me somewhat, as well as the idea on the upper floor to separate the living area from the sleeping area.

Thank you for your reply
Do you have another suggestion?
Bathroom 1 is deliberately arranged so that you can go directly from the bedroom to the toilet, but I am considering that if I put the toilet in the corner, I could also fit in a shower.
I also don't like the laundry chute in the children's bathroom; it would be better in the hallway, the ground floor doesn't need a laundry chute.
I have deliberately opted against a bathtub on the ground floor.
The door to the balcony will probably still be drawn in exactly.
I haven't received an offer for the basement yet but I will also consider the full basement version.

Moving in on the ground floor will be my husband and me, and on the first floor my nephew with his wife and 2 children.

Hello buddy,

Please read the initial thread for floor plan discussions and use the questionnaire, so that the discussion can be constructive for you, especially when the requirements are so high. ;)

Also, didn’t we just have these drafts... didn’t we criticize that the measurements were missing?

Regards Yvonne
