Plaster the door frame all around

quick question...

I currently have a passage in my house that I want to leave open for now, but with the option to install an interior door there later.

Who knows about this: if I have the frame plastered on the inside, I will lose some height at the top compared to the other door openings.

Will I still have enough installation clearance later for a frame with a standard door size?

I would simply measure it. You need at least 2.01m in height for a standard door. Otherwise, the frame and door leaf would have to be shortened or the plaster removed.
