Plaster connection to the house

I need a bit of help or tips on how to connect the paving to our wooden house.

As you can see in the picture, we have a wooden house, the green part is the insulation for the foundation slab, which will now be plastered (height approx. 25 cm).

How do I connect the paving now?? Directly to the base (foundation slab), then the paving will probably come up a bit too high. If it snows in winter, the wood should not be "stuck in the snow"! Or do you pave with some distance to the foundation slab and then fill the gap with gravel or something, or completely differently??

Well, I can't tell you if there's anything special to consider with a wooden house. Normally, you just install a so-called splash guard around the house. For this, a dimpled membrane is laid out and a gravel strip is created. At its edge, usually curbs, paving is then done.

A wooden house is basically no different from the base!! Do I need some kind of fixed borders or can I start directly with the paving at the edge strip??
